Dear Colleague, you are invited to attend a meeting of the Acid Drainage Technology Initiative (ADTI), Coal Group on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008, in Morgantown., WV. The purpose of this meeting is to:
- update participants on ADTI and related activities,
- prioritize issues, and
- confer on future goals and activities for the Coal Group.
Please come prepared to report on your recent efforts, and to discuss the future direction of the ADTI Coal Group.
The ADTI meeting will take place following the West Virginia Surface Mine Drainage Task Force conference. It will be held in the main assembly room 101A, National Research Center for Coal and Energy, on the West Virginia University Evansdale Campus, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. A draft meeting agenda is attached.
Please notify me if you plan to attend. If you are unable to attend, but would like to remain on the circulation list, indicate that as well.

Update on ADTI Metal Mining Sector and handbooks; International Network for Acid Prevention (INAP) and Global Acid Rock Drainage Guide (GARD Guide); International Conference on Acid Rock Drainage (ICARD), 2009.
2:00-2:45 pm. Current Research Activities and White Papers- Open to participants who wish to update the group on their current research. White paper topics.
2:45-3:30 pm. Future Activity and Direction of ADTI Coal Sector - Open Discussion
3:30 pm. Meeting Summary and Adjourn.
